A rainy day in Taipei

好不容易回到台灣卻天天下雨，原本想好好拍一些龍山寺或101給外國人看看，卻總是向隅。這天工作行程不是很滿，總算有時間去一趟民族東路的上引水產，雖說是漁市場卻有種Fancy的感覺，在我來看非常適合情侶約會。儘管要抽牌后位，但跟情人摸摸魚（我是說真的魚），或到一旁的小引吧小酌一杯，再逛逛生活傢私，時間一下就過去了。這個日式漁市場反而讓我想起兩年前在鹿特丹的NEW YORK HOTEL 吃大盤海鮮的情景，不論是裝潢或商品陳列的方式，都有股莫名的歐風。在傾盆大雨之際享用站著吃的新鮮海產，好不痛快，雖然料理本身並無太大記憶點，也算是吃個新鮮，但熱乎乎的湯品我倒是非常推薦喔 :)

Finally I’m back to Taiwan (though am going back to Milan later today), I was thinking of taking some pictures of our greatest tourist spots, but it was raining all the time. No worries, there’s a lot of fun in Taipei even the indoor activities. “Addiction Aquatic Development” is a Japanese style fish market which I’ve been looking so forward to visit while I was in Milan. You can purchase living seafood such as crabs and fish,  take away or there are a quarter that the chef will cook for you. The hottest spot that you should’t miss is the standing sushi bar “立吞” where you can have some nice japanese cuisine ,sushi and sashimi, what’s more, there’s no chair meaning you have to eat it STANDING. We’ve been waiting for 40 minutes but it’s a nice place to hang around with friends or lover. One can either stay in the wine bar or take a look in the decoration store near by. The atmosphere of here reminds me of the “NEW YORK HOTEL”  in Rotterdam back in my Netherlands’ time, where I had a super huge seafood plate with a nice white wine. 

在義大利養成的好習慣就是三餐飯後咖啡一杯，於是我來到永康街的鴉埠，尋找芬芳的苦澀。牆是我最愛的紅，不成系統的桌椅反而有種慵懶的藝術感，雖說不出這是日式還是美式風格，但帶著放鬆氣息的濃濃的咖啡香是唯一能肯定的。點了杯 Caffe Macchiato，濃縮咖啡加口奶泡，沖淡Espresso的重口味，也不用喝下過多的牛奶，對需要維持身材卻離不開咖啡因的人來說，簡直是天堂般的選擇！

After staying in Italy for years I’ve created a great hobbit, which is to have a coffee after every meal. (not good) I came to a cafe’ called Yaboo in YongKang Rd., where there are walls of read color and furnitures that are not pairing to others. I love this kind of artistic lazy feeling which is surrounding by a nice sent of coffee. I had a Caffe Macchiato, the one I always have in Italy, an espresso with a sip of froth. Perfect for the coffeholics who can’t  stand the strong characteristic of Caffe Expresso yet don’t wanna drink too much milk.   

晚邊我造訪了由兩個年輕台灣女生所創立的品牌，Fabitoria的工作室，對這兩個小妮子的功力感到十分驚艷。我喜歡印花，更喜歡數位印花；喜歡笑話，更喜歡黑色幽默，而Fabitoria的裙子彙整了黑色幽默的數位印花，讓人心花怒放。敬請期待我們的合作問世唷:)

Later I visited the studio of two Taiwanese girls, the designers of Fabitoria and was super impressed with them. I love prints but it’s better the digital kind, I love jokes but FANCY black humors. The skirts of Fabitoria are the combination of these things I love and I can only say that, I so much can’t wait to reveal our project which is working in progress.

沒什麼比香檳更好拿來慶祝夜晚的來臨，我在艾美寒舍看著大雨的窗外，水霧中的信義區像寶石般閃爍著。如果每天都能過得這麼美好就好！不過也就是這樣的日子無法天天過，才讓人更加珍惜，對吧？儘管台北天天下雨，卻讓我回味起居住在這個城市所有點點滴滴，每經過一條路，過去的我就像跑馬燈一樣，從身邊呼嘯而過。在台灣的假期進入尾聲，回到歐洲後就是時裝月硬戰一場，讓人既期待又怕受傷害。我們保持聯絡，米蘭見。

To celebrate the night there’s nothing better than champagne. Looking out from the window of Le Meridien Taipei, the raining XinYi District was like a shining jewelry. Oh, if I can have everyday like today! Vacation in Taiwan comes to the end, after going back to Europe there’s the fashion month that’s waiting, and I can’t wait. Let’s keep in touch, see you in Milan.
